The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) revised the Informational Bulletin 22-4 regarding the Medicaid Provider Enrollment Portal lookup tool on June 10, 2022.
Portal update
The Medicaid Provider Enrollment Portal is now available at LAmedicaid.com. When using the lookup tool, you may search by NPI, provider name, provider type, specialty, address, city and state, or ZIP code. Only 1 data point is required to search.
Search results will show providers whose enrollments are 100% complete. This is a useful tool for providers or associations to see if their enrollment is complete. The portal is updated daily, and the results may be downloaded.
Application updates
Providers who have submitted their applications, but do not see their names listed, must allow at least 15 business days for the update to be processed. If your information has not been processed within 15 business days, please contact Gainwell Technologies for a status update on enrollment and any next steps needed to complete the process by either:
Enrollment deadline
Providers who have already received an invitation to enroll must enroll on the portal by June 30, 2022. Providers who receive their invitation to enroll on a later date have 120 days from the initial letter to enroll. Any existing Medicaid provider with Louisiana Department of Health Healthy Louisiana who does not submit an application to initiate the screening process through the new portal by the appropriate date will have their claims denied.
