Members often identify themselves by their health plan name rather than their vision network. This can create confusion during scheduling or check-in and may result in covered members being turned away unnecessarily.
A quick eligibility check can make all the difference.
As a reminder, the UnitedHealthcare Vision Network and Spectera Vision Network are the same vision network. Members may identify themselves as having UnitedHealthcare, even if UnitedHealthcare is not their medical insurance carrier.
To help your team recognize the plan names available through our network, download the Vision Brand Reminder. This printable resource can be displayed at the front desk or other office areas for quick access.
Check out our Vision Brand Reminder training for an overview of our branding, how it affects your practice and answers to frequently asked brand questions.
Working together, we can help covered members get the care they need – without delays or confusion.
