In order to access secure content on UHCprovider.com or to access Link self-service tools to submit claims, verify eligibility or to check for prior authorization requirements, you’ll need to create an Optum ID.
Get started by creating an Optum ID with the tax ID number (TIN) of your practice or facility. If you’re the first person to register from your organization, you will receive a security code by mail and will need to come back to this page (UHCprovider.com/newuser) to enter it.
Business Associates such as revenue cycle management companies must register with their own TIN and later connect to care provider TINs using the Multi-TIN Access tool in Link Security.
If you received a security code for your Optum ID in the mail, click the button below to enter it and complete your registration.
Your Optum ID is yours forever. If you’re employed by a different care provider now, you simply need to connect the new TIN using the button below.
If you work for multiple TINs concurrently, please use the Multi-TIN Access tool in Link Security instead of the button above.
If you have an Optum ID connected to a TIN but are still unable to access specific Link tools, please ask your Password Owner or ID Administrator to make changes to your account access in the Link Security Tool.
Your Link Password Owner or ID Administrator that you select during registration will need to complete your request in Link Security. An email will be sent to you when the request is complete.
