EDI claim edits coming soon

We’re giving you advance notice of EDI claim edits that will be implemented in the coming months.

New payer level 277CA edits applied to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) 837 claim submissions will clearly define specific information that may be missing or doesn’t match data contained in our systems. For a list of the new edits, go to UHCprovider.com/ediclaimedits.com.

What you need to know

• This new electronic process will support quicker payments
• You will need to review your claims rejection report/277CA to identify rejected claims
• Rejected claims will then need to be corrected and resubmitted electronically
• Share this information with your software vendor, clearinghouse or internal IT department, if needed

We’ll notify you when the EDI 277CA edits will be implemented.
