New enrollment requirement for Louisiana Medicaid

All health care professionals who file claims with Louisiana Medicaid must now enroll in the new Medicaid Provider Enrollment Portal to continue being reimbursed. The enrollment deadline is June 30, 2022*.

We encourage you to enroll as soon as possible so you can continue to be paid for services rendered to UnitedHealthcare Community Plan members.

You can complete your enrollment on the Louisiana Department of Health website.

*The deadline for provider enrollment was initially announced as March 31, 2022. The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) has requested a deadline extension from CMS. The proposed deadline is June 30, 2022 and pending approval from CMS. LDH Healthy Louisiana providers are encouraged to take action as soon as possible to complete enrollment.
