Due to internal operational changes in how UnitedHealthcare manages its online prior authorization process for genetic and molecular lab tests for UnitedHealthcare Community and State Plans, the Prior Authorization & Notification tool in Link will be temporarily unavailable for online requests for genetic and molecular testing starting June 1, 2021.
Providers can call 877-610-9785 or fax their request to 844-897-6514 to submit prior authorization for genetic and molecular lab tests.
Further information will be provided when UnitedHealthcare Community and State Plans release online genetic and molecular lab test prior authorizations capabilities.
