It’s now easier and faster to submit referrals and check the status of existing referral requests. The Referrals function on Link has moved to the new, integrated UnitedHealthcare provider portal experience.
It’s part of our commitment to create more streamlined access to our digital self-service tools. Our goal is to reduce the time it takes for you to perform claim and clinical activities by making the tools easier to navigate.
In the integrated UnitedHealthcare provider portal, you can seamlessly move between managing referrals, submitting claims, verifying patient eligibility and benefits, and taking action on existing claims. The Referrals tab allows you to:
The first time you try Referrals in the integrated portal, on-screen tips will walk you through the features. The existing referralLink won’t be retired until February 2021, so you can transition at your own pace.

On Dec. 14, 2020, the TrackIt tool will be retired from the legacy Link experience. You should now access TrackIt in the integrated UnitedHealthcare provider portal.
