Protecting patient health information and staying HIPAA compliant continues to drive our additional technology requirements. With our new UnitedHealthcare Hearing Provider Portal authentication enhancement, you’ll have the option to download the Microsoft Authenticator app to receive an access code to complete the login process.
While you can still receive access codes through a phone call, text or email, we’ll eventually phase out these options and replace them with Microsoft Authenticator. This new feature will allow self-service options such as remembering your username, resetting your password, or unlocking your account.
