Texas Medicaid: Earn 5.5 hours of free CE

Learn how better nutrition can help improve health outcomes

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Texas is partnering with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) to offer 5.5 hours of free continuing education (CE) on the use of nutrition to help prevent and treat chronic disease.

The Lifestyle Medicine & Food as Medicine Essentials course consists of 3 modules:

  • Introduction to Lifestyle Medicine (1 hour)
  • Food as Medicine: Nutrition for Prevention and Longevity (3 hours)
  • Food as Medicine: Nutrition for Treatment and Risk Reduction (1.5 hours)

All UnitedHealthcare Community Plan network health care professionals are eligible to take this course for free.

How to register

  • Open the course registration link and select register now
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and select create a new account
    • Enter required fields, including credentials (required for CE credit)
    • Create a password for your account
  • Select register myself
  • Select check out
    • Enter promo code ESS-UHC and click apply (cost will update to $0)
    • Click submit order

You’ll receive a confirmation email after you register.
