Receive text messages to verify your identity and access spectera.com

You have the option to add a mobile phone number to your spectera.com account and verify your identity via text message beginning in early November. Adding a phone number allows you to get verification codes directly on your mobile phone, making the verification process faster and more efficient than email. If you chose not to enter a phone number, you can still verify your identity through the email address you have saved on your account. This will not impact your ability to use spectera.com.

To add a mobile phone number:

  • Sign into your spectera.com account
  • Go to Account Management
  • Select Security and click the Change button

After you’ve verified your identity by email, you will be given the option to enter a phone number. A verification code will be sent to your mobile device, and you will need to enter the code in the space provided.

Once you have both an email and phone number saved to your account, you can choose between the 2 verification options when you need to change your email address, phone number or password on spectera.com.
