We know that Revenue Cycle Management companies (RCMs) perform many types of work on behalf of care providers, and we want to help you take advantage of using the same self-service tools they do.
We ran a pilot with a national RCM to see how we could help them optimize their use of these self-service tools. After working together, their phone calls to UnitedHealthcare decreased 97 percent.1
According to CAQH data, eligibility and claims calls combined average 12 minutes, and the average cost is $5.37 per call2. Eligibility and claims transactions on the Provider Portal or through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) take less than a minute3 so the savings can really add up.
Interested in how you can decrease phone calls to save time and money?
“We were shocked with how much time and money we have saved … within such a short amount of time. It has been extremely beneficial having this partnership with UnitedHealthcare.”
Melissa Schultz, Manager of Revenue Cycle Operations at Brightree
