Redirect messages for Surest added to the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal

Although Surest, (formerly known as Bind) is a UnitedHealthcare company, there is a separate Payer ID and portal for member eligibility, benefits and claims. In order to check information, health care professionals must visit the UnitedHealthcare Shared Services (UHSS) Provider Portal at UHSS.UMR.com — not the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal.
Until recently, if health care professionals visited the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal and searched the Surest Payer ID, an error message would display. Now, there are redirect messages enabled that send health care professionals to the UHSS Provider Portal instead.
