Understanding Care Cash
Certain plan members in your area are eligible to receive Care Cash, a prepaid debit card that supports them with out-of-pocket expenses and guides them to care in our network. We offer this program to help remove payment barriers and close gaps in care.
Nothing is needed from you. The Care Cash card is processed just like a debit card. We just want you to be aware of the program in case a patient uses Care Cash at your practice. If your patient has questions, please refer them to the phone number on the back of their member ID card or uhc.com/carecash.
