United Behavioral Health developed online prevention sites that offer information and practice tools to support your treatment of patients with depression, substance use disorders and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Available tools include:

  • Prevention Center
  • Behavioral Health Toolkit for Medical Practitioners

UnitedHealthcare Resource Library
The UnitedHealthcare Resource Library contains a tab for Behavioral Health Resources and a tab labeled “Important Concepts in Integration: Coordination of Care”. At this site, you will find basic information, including screening tools, behavioral health support and referral information, a link to the Prevention Center and coordination of care information.

Prevention Center
The Prevention Center offers physicians and other health care professionals access to a convenient, reliable and free source of pertinent health information. This site includes a Prevention Center for each condition with a library of articles that include:

  • Support for prevention and recovery
  • Information about co-morbid conditions
  • Links to nationally recognized practice guidelines
  • A printable self-appraisal to use or refer to your patients
  • Listings of support resources for you, your patients and their families

Behavioral Health Toolkit for Medical Practitioners
Additionally, you have access the Behavioral Health Toolkit for Medical Practitioners on the Optum Provider Express website. The toolkit contains screening tools, resources, referral information and guidelines.
