For dates of service starting Jan. 1, 2023, UnitedHealthcare will process all claims for Rocky Mountain Health Plans (all products) members. Claims for dates of service prior to Jan. 1, 2023, will be processed by Rocky Mountain Health Plans.
What happens next
In the coming months, participating Rocky Mountain Health Plans and UnitedHealthcare providers in Colorado will receive information and training opportunities focusing on:
Claims submission instructions, including changes with electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions
Prior authorization process updates
New website and provider portal and available online tools
Changes in health plan contact information
Changes in specific forms and reports
Rocky Mountain Health Plans’ teams and leaders are still available to answer questions, provide support and resolve issues.
