Arizona: Help for your patients with chronic pain

Do you have a patient who struggles with chronic pain? UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Arizona members with chronic pain — including those with opioid use disorder — now have an option to receive care from Pima Pain Center, which we’ve recently identified as a Center of Excellence in the treatment of complex pain conditions.

Comprehensive care for members with chronic pain

Pima Pain Center provides a fully integrated approach to pain management with providers who have expertise in treating patients with complex physical and behavioral health conditions, including patients who struggle with opioid use disorder. Services include:

  • Behavioral health care
  • Medication management
  • Non-invasive interventional therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Holistic medicine
  • Care coordination for patients receiving medication-assisted treatment (MAT) from another provider

Referring your patients

If you feel your patient who is a UnitedHealthcare Community Plan member could benefit from pain management services, we encourage you to refer the patient to Pima Pain Center.
