Dental provider information for the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Nebraska
The 21st Century Cures Act was signed on December 13, 2016. Section 12006(a) of the 21st Century Cures Act mandates that States implement EVV for all Medicaid personal care services (PCS) and home health services (HHCS) that require an in-home visit by a provider.
Nebraska Medicaid implemented EVV for personal care services on January 1, 2021. Nebraska Medicaid is required to begin a phased implementation of an (EVV) system for home health providers on January 1, 2024.

All MCOs will be using Netsmart’s EVV platform for EVV visit release.
Providers billing for services in a member’s place of residence must use the Netsmart EVV system or a vendor certified by Netsmart.
