Contact your software vendor or clearinghouse to activate in your system.

UnitedHealthcare wants to help you overcome barriers to obtain member eligibility and benefits from your 270/271 Health Care Eligibility and Benefit Inquiry and Response transactions.

EDI transactions are generated from your practice management system (PMS) or hospital information system (HIS), and then are routed to a clearinghouse for submission to UnitedHealthcare. The information we return to you for these transactions is automatically loaded back into your computer system. These are not transactions done through Link using your Optum ID.
