Texas Medicaid: Enroll to receive your enhanced LTSS rate
You can earn attendant compensation rate enhancement payments (ACEP) as a long-term services and supports (LTSS) provider when you serve UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Texas members.
How to enroll
Step 1: Enroll in the Texas Health and Human Services Commission’s (HHSC) Attendant Compensation Rate Enhancement Program during their open enrollment period, July 1-31, 2023. For more information, visit their Long-term Services & Supports page.
Step 2: Submit the UnitedHealthcare Attendant Compensation Rate Enhancement form to us between Sept. 1 to Nov. 1, 2023. Please complete the form each year to receive the enhanced rate.
What you need to know
- Use your enhanced rate when submitting claims to us
- When you enroll in the program, we’ll retroactively pay you the enhanced rate for claims going back to Sept. 1, 2023
- If you’re enrolling in our ACEP program for the first time, we’ll mail you your updated participation agreement and request that you sign and return it to us. We’ll begin paying your enhanced rate after we process the amendment.
