TrackIt is an innovative tool on the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal landing page that serves as your daily to-do list, your personal assistant and an automatic reminder for all your UnitedHealthcare claim-related tasks. 

Need to upload a document? Are we missing some information to process your claim? TrackIt will tell you. No need to pick up the phone or wait for the mail. You can complete many actions without leaving the tool. TrackIt allows you to find information faster, save clicks and reduce unnecessary searches.

Customize TrackIt to your needs

  • Set up daily or weekly email alerts to be notified of new action-required items
  • View activity on requests: Prior authorizations, Smart Edits, pended claims, reconsiderations and appeals
  • Set preferences and use filters to view your own work or monitor work of colleagues, if needed
  • Flag claims for easy access

Newest features

  • See items that need action in one glance with the “Action Required” bar at the top of the portal home screen
  • View prior authorization and claim appeal letters right in TrackIt. Watch for other types of letters, such as prior authorization appeal, Medicare Pending, Additional Information and Reconsideration/Pended letters.
  • Action-needed alerts: You’ll automatically be sent an email from TrackIt when items have been added. You’ll be able to change your email preferences using the portal’s Manage Email Notifications area.
  • My Practice Profile attestation reminders: Get 90-day attestation reminders and confirmation when your updates are made

Upcoming enhancements 
Watch for the following new features and updates throughout 2023 and beyond:

  • View submissions for up to 1 year: Previously, claim and prior authorization submissions were only viewable for the past 14 days
  • Notifications of medical records still needed: Find out what medical records we still need from you and what documents we have
  • Reconsiderations submitted by phone: These will be added directly to TrackIt, including status updates and decisions
