FL Medicaid: Consider OB Homecare for hypertensive pregnancy disorders

The Optum OB Homecare program supports pregnant and postpartum members experiencing hypertensive pregnancy disorders, including those at risk for developing preeclampsia.

OB Homecare overview

This skilled nursing program helps identify and manage hypertensive pregnancy disorders and includes:

• Remote blood pressure monitoring, symptom assessment and urine protein monitoring as clinically indicated
• Real-time clinical review and escalation as needed
• 24/7 OB registered nurse support

Who qualifies?

• Members who are pregnant or postpartum
• Diagnosed with preeclampsia
• At risk for developing preeclampsia

Please note: OB Homecare will validate patient insurance coverage prior to rendering services.

How to enroll patients in the program

Complete the OB Homecare prescription form and submit it using one of the following methods:
