Ensure each member account has its own unique email address

Sharing email addresses for member accounts is no longer permitted in the UnitedHealthcare Hearing Provider Portal. To help keep member information safe and maintain compliance, each member account requires its own unique email address.

 

How it works

If the email entered during registration matches an existing record:

  • The existing patient details will be displayed in the Provider Portal
  • If the patient already exists, you may select the existing record, verify the date of birth and proceed with next steps for a referral request

 

To create a new patient registration:

  • Use a different email address that is not currently in our system
  • Select Create New Patient with Different Email
  • Update the email and save the new registration

 

Members who choose postal mail as their communication preference may leave the email field blank.
